Your Library Card
A current student ID is needed to check out items from the Library. Students without a student ID will not be allowed to check out books. If you have lost your student ID, please see Mr. Larson in the Media Center where a replacement can be made for $5.00.
Students are allowed two books at any time to check out. They will have two weeks to keep each book.
Patrons may return materials by putting them in the book drop at the circulation desk or handing them directly to one of our Library Assistants
The fine on books is $0.10 per day per item. Please pay fines in the library.
You may still check out items if you have fines totaling under $3.00.
Fine notices will be given to students throughout the year.
Materials checked out to other patrons may be placed on hold and a note will be sent to you letting you know when the book has been returned so that you may check it out.
Most materials can be renewed up to two additional loan periods. Items on hold for someone else may not be renewed.
Additional COVID Precautions
Due to all the extra COVID precautions in place this year, we need to allow the books to sit a minimum of 24 hours after they are returned before we can clean/disinfect them and then scan them in as returned. So the schedule of when we can scan books back in is below:
|Day Items Returned||Day Items Cleaned/Scanned|
If your books show a late fine due to the above COVID schedule then we will delete it and you won’t be charged that fine due to the extra waiting period.
